#### Brainstorming for innovative curriculum and courses

**The idea is simple, and I repeat the words of Christophe Vieu:**

"The proposal is to begin to build also a presentation of knowledge not from the major disciplines (chemistry, biology, mechanics, optics, electromagnetism, quantum ....), But from major general concepts that could be illustrated within several disciplines, several concrete applications and still open questions for research.Of course the idea is not to say that the courses by "disciplines" must be abandoned, in fact we must start with this so that the tool that we build
finds a place and utility quickly in our current teaching practice. It's about starting in parallel to build an alternative learning path. It is also clear that both approaches are feeding each other.
Here are for example some big "concepts" that we could call for example "big ideas":


*  Balance

*  Movement

*  Resonance

*  waves


If this is an idea that seems interesting to you, we could think collectively to structure a little these "big ideas" (for example what would be the big ideas really transverse
to all our physics lessons from beginning of bachelor/licence to end of master) and intelligible to a high school student. We can create a fifth (even sixth) level for the master, which would not be "online", but could be shared (or not) by the partner institutes and their students. Then pick one as a try to see what it gives. "
I think myself of new "big concept" that I put here:


*  Time and time phenomena: cyclic phenomena and time periods, transient phenomena and time constant "

*  From sets to systems

So I propose to create for each of these knowledge-themes a file, with a document of exchanges of ideas. As this we can exchange in the same document, and go further by building the structure of this knowledge-theme, in levels and chapter, as soon as we feel ready.
! By definition, any new branch created with a title in English. And in the files / documents must be immediately created in 3 versions. Example: textbook.es.md (for Spanish), textbook.fr.md (French), and textbook.en.md (English). Either we get used to exchange in English. Either we take the habit to create in his language, then with a google translation, to create our exchange in the other two languages. (No, it's not complicated, do not take a lot of time, and is enough for what you want to do at this stage). But we discuss between all of us, the method :)
You can also add your own knowledge-themes. This is the idea: to bounce on ideas that we share, or to propose other ideas to develop and test them in community.
