--- title: 'The M3P2 objectives' --- #### What M3P2 is? * A free and secular and **free website** for *education*, and **training in the scientific spirit** and method. * A **progressive training** (in *4 levels*) to prepare and pass scientific studies, from a *basic citizen level* up to a *full undergraduate level*. * A **self-assessment** and *guidance* following the *learning project* defined or selected by the learners themselves. * **Identical courses** in _🇺🇸_**English**, _🇨🇴_**Spanich** and _🇫🇷_**French**, validated by *international teams* of the partner universities. * An *adaptative plateform* with options to learn with a smartphone or a computer, on-line as well as off-line. #### What M3P2 is not? * M3P2 is **not a training site for national baccalaureate exams** in the various countries of the partner universities. #### For whom is M3P2? * Undergraduate students in highschool or university * Self-learner with re-training plans, out-of-school persons willing to upgrade their knowledge or to prepare a project. * **Teachers** and **professors** : as pedagogical resource, course supplements, reverse courses. #### What are the M3P2 objectives? * To **define a basic level**, set of skills and knowledge that all citizens — even if they are not particularly interested in sciences and technologies — shoiuld know in order to be able to *understand the world*, *understand the other’s point of view* and to *improve their teamwork skills*. * To **lead to an undergraduate level**, through *4 levels of increasing mastery and depth of knowledge and skills* realized *in strong coherence* by same pedagogical teams in the various scientific and technological fields. * To display the pedagigical content in **different modes of presentation**, in order *to adjust to each user’s specific way of learning* or stage in his/her learning process. * To encourage and help the user to gradually **discover his fields of interest, to define his/her learning project** that may consist in *acquiring up to an undergraduate level, in independent learning*, or *start to prepare himself/herself for graduate studies*. * To make the freshmen **aware of the intercultural aspect**, to encourage him/her to choose two languages of study among the three languages proposed, and to *prepare himself/herself for an eventual international project* (high school or university exchange program, internship abroad, future work within international teams). All pedagogical contents are realized identically in Spanish, French and English by international teams (Europe and Latine America) and approved by the M3P2 partner universities. * To give an access to the pedagogical content on a **simple smartphone screen**, and even in **zones of sporadic, reduced or expensive access to the Internet**. * And more generally to **participate in the global effort to disseminate the scientific knowledge and spirit**. #### Can I trust in the quality of the courses? Although *everyone is encouraged to submit a contribution* (new pedagogical resource or improvement of the current pedagogical resources, structuring into chapters/ sub-chapters, new pedagogical paths, feedback about the website usability), *the pedagogical content is validated by the lecturers/researchers from the M3P2 partner universities*. These lecturers/researchers are spitted into voluntary international thematic teams (which may be extended to external members), associated with the M3P2 partner universities from each theme.
