The M3P2 objectives true true true

What is M3P2 ?

  • A secular and free website for education and training based on the scientific method and mindset.
  • A progressive training (in 4 levels) to prepare and successfully complete scientific studies, from a basic (‘citizen’) level up to a full undergraduate level.
  • Identical courses in English, Spanish and French, approved by international teams from partner universities.
  • An adaptive platform that offers the possibility to learn even with a smartphone or a computer, online and offline.

What is not M3P2 ?

  • M3P2 is not a training site for national baccalaureate exams in the various countries of the partner universities.

For whom is M3P2 ?

  • High school and undergraduate students.
  • Self-learners and young people who have dropped out of school willing to upgrade their knowledge or to prepare a project.
  • Young adults undergoing career change.
  • Teachers and professors looking for pedagogical resources, course supplements, or flipped classrooms.

What are the objectives of M3P2 ?

  • To define a base level, a set of skills and knowledge that all citizens —even those not particularly interested in science and technology— should possess in order to better understand the world, understand different points of view and to improve their teamwork skills.
  • To lead the user to an undergraduate level through 4 coherent levels of increasing mastery and depth of knowledge and skills, conducted by the same pedagogical teams in the different scientific and technological fields.
  • Lead to an undergraduate level, through 4 levels of increasing mastery and depth of knowledge and skills realized in strong coherence by same pedagogical teams in the various scientific and technological fields.
  • To display the pedagogical content in different modes of presentation, in order to adjust to each user’s specific way of learning or the various stages in his/her learning process.
  • To encourage and help the user to gradually discover his/her areas of interest, to define his/her study project that may include acquiring up to an undergraduate level through self-learning, or start preparing for higher education* to ultimately *study in an undergraduate program.
  • To raise the user’s awareness of the intercultural aspect at a very early stage, to encourage him/her to choose two languages of study among the three languages proposed, and to encourage preparation for an eventual international project (high school or university exchange program, internship abroad, future work within an international team). All pedagogical contents are developed identically in Spanish, French and English by international teams (Europe and Latin America) and approved by the M3P2 partner universities.
  • To give access to the content on a simple smartphone screen, and even in zones of sporadic, reduced or expensive internet access.
  • And, more generally, to contribute to the global effort of disseminating the scientific knowledge and spirit, by offering to all internet users free and open access to a structured curriculum built on courses approved by partner universities.

Can I trust the quality of the courses ?

Although everyone is encouraged to submit a contribution (new pedagogical content or improvement of the existing resources, structuring into chapters/sub-chapters, new pedagogical pathways, feedback on the website usability), the pedagogical content is validated by lecturer-researchers from the M3P2 partner universities. These lecturer-researchers are organized into voluntary international thematic teams (which may be extended to external members), associated with M3P2 partner universities in each subject area (in a balanced collaboration between Europe and Latin America).
