Observe :
- Observe the phenomena.
- The object of observation is the perceived or measured sensible reality.
- Search for unifying principles among numerous phenomena.
Interpret and model :
- Interpret the observations in terms of concepts, principles and laws.
- Build a mathematical model.
- Use the model to make measurable predictions.
Question and compare :
- Examine specific aspects of Nature through experimentation.
- Measure how Nature responds to experimentation.
- Compare measurements with predictions and Nature’s behavior with the model.
